Robím to čisto zo zdravotných dôvodov.
Robím to čisto zo zdravotných dôvodov.
A mala som pravdu.
Po mesiaci, kedy som nejedla mäso, mliečne výrobky, vajcia, sladké či lepok, som zaznamenala obrovské zmeny... a všetky boli pozitívne.
2. Zhodila som aj nejaké to kilo, neviem koľko, lebo som sa nevážila ani predtým, ani potom.
3. Celkovo sa cítim skvele.
4. Mám pocit čistého žalúdka (ak sa tam dá vôbec cítiť).
5. Nič sa mi zbytočne nedrží v tráviacom systéme!
Áno, prvý týždeň bol trochu náročný, kým si telo zvykne, že nekonzumuje to, čo konzumovalo posledných 22 rokov. Druhý týždeň to už išlo pomerne ľahšie a teraz ide už iba o to, aby som vydržala.
2. Čo potom ješ, keď si vynechala všetky dobré veci? Áno, nepopieram, dobrovoľne som sa vzdala chutných, no nie dobrých vecí. Aspoň nie dobrých pre mňa osobne. A vegánska náhrada existuje už pomaly na všetko!
3. Klasické - nie je ti zle? Uvidíš, po čase ti začnú vypadávať vlasy a zuby. Podobné poznámky od neinformovaných ľudí ani neberiem vážne :)
5. Čo ti najviac chýba? Jednoznačne syr.
Neviem, ako dlho vydržím. Idú Vianoce, čo bude pre mňa najväčšou výzvou. Každopádne vás budem informovať ;)

Warning: This post is not about me trying to convince you to go vegan in any sense. It´s my personal opinion, experience. Comments about my hair or teeth falling out after going vegan keep to yourself :)
Okay, I didn´t think I can go vegan for a whole month, but I managed to do that! Why did I start?
I was thinking about it for a longer time now. It started when I watched some youtube videos about vegetarianism, veganism and raw lifestyle. I gradually gained enough information so that I can make my personal opinion about it.
I do it because of health.
I felt physically bad, my stomach hurt, acne bothered me for years and I knew that I could feel better. And I was right.
After a month not eating meat, dairy products, eggs, sweets or gluten, I have seen tremendous changes ... and all of them were positive.
1. After only two weeks my skin cleared up and my surroundings noticed it as well.
2. I also lost some weight, I don´t know how much, because I weighed neither before nor after.
3. Overall, I feel just great.
4. I feel that my stomach is clean (if there is such a feeling).
5. Nothing is stuck in my stomach!
6. I no longer have cravings for sweets and other unhealthy things.
Yes, the first week was a bit challenging, until your body gets used to not consume things you have been consuming for the last 22 years. The second week was relatively easier and now I just need to focuse and keep going.
My plan is not doing it forever, even though it would probably be the best for me, but I want to keep it up and continue as long as possible. But if I feel any need to start eating meat or dairy, I´m not gonna hold myself back.
And what kind of reactions people gave me already? Here are few comments and questions that people asked me:
1. You don´t eat anything! I do! Quality and healthy things that fills me for a long time.
2. What do you eat, when you missed out all the good stuff? Yes, I do not deny, I voluntarily gave up tasty, but not healthy things. At least not good for me. And almost every food has a vegan substitute!
3. Classic - Don´t you feel sick? You see, after a while you begin to lose hair and teeth. Similar comments from uninformed people are not taken seriously by me :)
4. Is it more expensive to eat this way? Clearly not. Individual food and organic ingredients are more expensive, however I eat less and I go shopping much less than before. I buy a high quality food and it will last me longer - I save money on meat, which is quite expensive, dairy products, which I used to consume on a daily basis, eggs, which are also not cheap.
5. What do you miss the most? Cheese.
Stay healthy!
Love, Em
